Daily, there are 14,000 Americans who have the unfortunate surprise of experiencing water damage. If this happens to you, let SERVPRO help you restore your home.
As a leader in the restoration industry, we know that disasters happen at the most inconvenient times, which is why we are always on call. Once you call in SERVPRO, we’ll rely on our patented process for handling water damage cleanup. Here’s what to expect:
Emergency Contact. When you call us, we’ll ask questions to determine the nature of your emergency and set up an appointment to come and survey the damage in person.
Inspection and Water Damage Assessment. Once we arrive on site, we spring into action immediately, verifying first that the main water source has been shut off. Then we will walk through your home and property, evaluating the water damage and noting any hazards along the way. Lastly, we will outline a plan for you so that we can get started.
Water Removal. We will begin with the most obvious step, which is to get rid of the standing water. We will use powerful pumps and extraction units to help get rid of hundreds or thousands of gallons of water. Complete removal of the water can help reduce the overall drying time and help prevent mold growth.
Damaged Material Removal. We’ll take stock of the items in your home, including the structure itself, looking for what is irretrievably damaged. We will convey to you any items or materials that need to be replaced, as well as what can be repaired. Our goal is to always restore as much as possible, rather than replace.
Cleaning, Sanitizing and Deodorization. Water that sits can become stagnant and stinky quickly. We will work to rid your home of the smell and germs by using industry-leading equipment and time-tested techniques.
Drying. Once the bulk of the water has been removed, it’s important to remember that there is still moisture in the home. It’s important to remove excess moisture and restore the normal moisture balance so that we can reduce the risk of mold growth.
Monitoring. As your home goes through the drying phase, we will remain in constant contact with you and even stop by daily to ensure that the drying process is working efficiently. As needed, we’ll change techniques.
Repairs and Construction. Once all of this has been completed, we can begin the repair or restoration process. From minor things like resurfacing to large scale rebuilds, we can do it all. Consider us your one-stop-shop.
When water damage strikes, make the call to SERVPRO for A-to-Z cleanup and restoration. We’ll make your damaged property look “Like It Never Even Happened.”
